Our Story
Hi, I'm James!
I am the founder of Overlay Apps and for the past decade I have thoroughly enjoyed helping businesses get more value out of the Salesforce platform.
Something I've witnessed time and time again are frustrated managers running countless operational reports, searching for overdue tasks, accounts without follow ups, customers left waiting, deals stalling and leads slipping through the cracks. All symptomatic of professionals missing important information and struggling to stay on top of their workload.
This gave me an idea. What if we could assist these professionals in real time? What if Salesforce could keep watch and step in to help teams take action when it matters most? Before it becomes a statistic in a report, an issue, a complaint, a lost lead or a missed opportunity.
Visually I pictured a digital assistant built into the platform … that idea grew into an obsession and that obsession became… Act On It.
